We are open, and everything is free while we test. Registered migration agents and Australian legal practitioners can join now. The guides, cost estimator and disciplinary decisions are live and free to use. No provider has been verified yet, so a case posted today would not be quoted — that changes the day the first one is. What it will cost later.

About

Who runs VisaBid

A marketplace for Australian visa work, operated by a company that is not a migration agent and does not want to be one.

What this is

VisaBid is a place to describe an Australian visa matter once and receive written, itemised quotes from people who are legally entitled to act on it: registered migration agents holding a MARN, and Australian legal practitioners. You compare the quotes, you choose, and from that moment the professional relationship is between you and them.

The reason the site exists is narrow and specific. Immigration advice in Australia is already regulated tightly - there is a Code of Conduct that requires a written service agreement, a fee structure set out before any work starts, an invoice for every payment, and your file kept for seven years. Most of that is invisible to the person paying for it. This platform makes the paperwork the law already requires into the thing you see first, instead of the thing you are handed afterwards.

What this is not

VisaBid does not give immigration assistance

Giving immigration assistance in Australia without registration is an offence under section 280 of the Migration Act 1958, carrying up to ten years' imprisonment. This company is not registered and does not do it. Nobody here will tell you which visa to apply for, read your documents for you, or advise you on your prospects. That is what the people quoting are for, and it is why the only people allowed to quote are the ones the law allows.

VisaBid is also not connected to the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority, to the Department of Home Affairs, or to any Australian government body. Where this site republishes a public register - the disciplinary decisions directory, for instance - it says where the material came from and links to the original.

Who operates it

MultiTasker LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States of America, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States of America.

VisaBid is a service name of MultiTasker LLC, not a separate company. No company has been registered under the name VisaBid, and every agreement, invoice and payment on this site is made by MultiTasker LLC. We mention it because this site exists to help people find out who they are dealing with before they pay anyone, and a platform that leaves its own identity to be inferred from a footer is asking for a trust it does not extend.

We are not an Australian company, and we say so plainly rather than leaving it to be discovered. It changes nothing about your rights: the Australian Consumer Law applies to a business that deals with people in Australia regardless of where it is registered, and nothing in our terms removes a right you have under it, because nothing lawfully could. It does mean this company holds no Australian financial services licence, no credit licence, and no migration agent registration - and it is structured so that none of those are needed.

Where your file lives

Application servers and the database, including every uploaded document, are hosted in Sydney, Australia. Administrative access is exercised from the United States and the Philippines.

How the money works

This is the part most marketplaces are vague about, so: VisaBid does not take your money and pass it on. Professional fees are paid to the agent or lawyer you engage, under the service agreement between you and them, on the fee structure the Code requires them to give you in writing. The platform charges for the services it provides to providers - listing, verification, lead alerts and the paperwork tooling - and it does not take a percentage of your matter.

Applicants are not charged to use this site. Not to post a case, not to receive quotes, not to read anything here. That is a design decision, not an introductory offer.

What is on the site today

Open, free while we test, and not yet quoting

VisaBid is open: agents and lawyers can join today, and the guides, the cost estimator, the register check and the disciplinary directory are all live and free to use. Everything is free while we are testing — the provider fees are published but not being charged, and no provider will be charged without written notice first.

What is not open is quotes. 0 providers have completed verification, so a case posted today would sit unanswered. We would rather say that here than take the case. This notice removes itself the day the first provider is verified.

Getting hold of us

Support goes to support@visabid.io and reaches a person. Anything about a provider's conduct goes to trust@visabid.io and is treated as urgent. Privacy requests go to privacy@visabid.io. The contact page lists the rest, and complaints and disputes explains what happens after you write - including which regulator to go to if the answer from us is not good enough.
